In 2003, This Providence released “the “Sunday Best EP.” This EP Included more songs recorded before Gavin joined the band, and thus didn’t represent where they were as a band currently and started recording new tracks. Soon after they recorded new songs with RocketStar Recordings releasing the debut album “Our Worlds Divorced” and began touring.

In 2005 after touring, drummer Paul Benson announced he wasn’t one for touring and left the band on friendly terms and This Providence introduced new drummer Ryan Tapert. In 2006 This Providence released their second full length self-titled CD with Fueled by Ramen. Not long after Phil Cobrea astated he was leaving the band in need to be around his family more, and left the band on friendly terms. David Blaise soon replaced Phil on bass. Part-time member Sean Gasperetti joined as guitar so Dan Young could be hands free while singing, and their final member change was on their most recent tour with Daphne Loves Derby and The Higher, drummer Andy Horst joined this providence. Though, Sean announced his departure from This Providence in April 2008 returning them to a 4 person band.

The band released their third album Who Are You Now? on March 17, 2009.
