A Rocket To The Moon was a project started by Nick Santino in the summer of 2006. He started writing and recording songs and posted them on MySpace. His little experiment grew into something huge over time, as the page got a ton of hits and his songs gained popularity. On August 16, 2007, Nick released an EP entitled Summer 07 EP on iTunes. He also released some acoustic demos on December 13 of the same year on his PureVolume. Following Bamboozle 2008, Santino joined up with Justin Richards, Eric Halvorsen, and Andrew Cook to fill out the lineup of the band. Together they released On Your Side, the band's full-length debut, on December 2, 2009. This is just the beginning for one of Fueled By Ramen's newest additions, but A Rocket to the Moon are already proving themselves to be a band to watch out for.
